Dear Community Members,
Due to COVID-19, we shall be closed to the public for our usual hours for the next two weeks. This includes regular operating hours (9-5 Monday-Friday) and postponing our upcoming Money Club & Tool Library consultations. We consider this part of community-based measures to reduce the adverse effects of the virus.
Though there will be no hosts on duty, members can still arrange to have access to our spaces by reaching out to staff/volunteers, while private bookings and tenants will be able to use our spaces at their own discretion while taking reasonable precautions.
We will be actively working with community members to make sure we come together and support our local businesses, farmers, those who are food insecure and most vulnerable at this time. If you want to lend a hand, or need a hand– please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the meantime, rest up and stay safe–care is a community effort! Please be gentle and generous with yourselves and your neighbours, we’ll be here to support you however we can.
Here is some important information from Public Health about community-based measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We’re better when we work together– so let’s work together even while we are apart to spread good information and kindness however we can.
